My lingering inclination to develop this small business did not take me by surprise, as I have always been exceedingly passionate about fashion. I have been blessed with countless opportunities to further this passion, in realms such as modeling, working for a fashion designer, creating content as a fashion blogger, and being a professional photographer. I was blessed with a mom who was always supportive of all that I set out to accomplish and would never hesitate to talk to me for hours about all things fashion. It was always so enjoyable to collaborate with her on ideas because we were both such creative individuals. She always blew me away with her artistic talents in painting, creating beautiful floral arrangements, and having a unique taste for extraordinary pieces of jewelry. Unfortunately, she passed away in April 2019, creating a time that was undoubtedly the most unfathomable and difficult time of my life. I have continuously sought to keep her precious memory alive and creating a jewelry brand in her honor was the perfect opportunity. My husband shared this sentiment and came up with a thoughtful business name that was inclusive of our names, Bibiana and Kim. Honoring her makes me feel like she’s always supporting me and building on a shared past.
